The talent gathered in Harbin for the 34th International ice sculpture competition was truly astonishing. Among the countries represented were India, Serbia, Montenegro, the United States, Canada, Mongolia, Russia, and China. With more than thirty teams competing over just two and a half days it was difficult to get around to see and photograph the sculptures let alone get to know their authors. The website asks that the viewer excuse the lack of full, detailed captions.
