China 2018

In December I travelled to Changchun and Harbin in the far North of China.  I participated in two ice art and architecture symposia, carving large, multi block sculptures with help from teammates Evan Geli (Vango) from Greece and Anan from Taiwan, local carvers Yen and Gavin, and Alex, Evan, Merilia, and Ivy, some of our wonderful translators.  Big Thank You to Jeffrey Ng who set everything up for the international carvers, and to our sponsors and hosts.  It was magical.

You don’t have to be crazy to do this; well…, yes, actually you do.
